The Sweet Lime, or Mosambi (Citrus limetta), is a perennial evergreen citrus tree known for its sweet, round fruit that turns yellowish when ripe. It thrives in warm, tropical to subtropical, and Mediterranean climates and is easy to grow with full sun, well-drained soil, and deep watering, but allowing the soil to dry between waterings. The plant has glossy green leaves, fragrant white flowers, and may have thorny branches.
