The Rudraksha plant, botanically known as Elaeocarpus ganitrus, is a large, evergreen tree reaching up to 15-60 feet with shiny green, serrated leaves that turn red before falling. It produces fragrant white flowers and blue-grey fruits, the seeds of which are known as Rudraksha beads.
